Why Okazaki fragments use RNA primer but not DNA primer?

This question is really interesting. Actually if DNA primers were used, then these primers wouldn't need to be removed as in the case of RNA primers. But why are RNA primers still used? I think it's because RNA primers are more stable than DNA primers.
