Best way to start learning Russian?

I would use Rosetta Stone, but I'm sure you could do it online. I would learn the alphabet and then order Russian Childrens books to practice. Most book stores sell Russian books to teach you the alphabet and words. I would use a book because although I love the internet, nothing beats a book for me.
