Need to find anime style movie shown on disney channel during the early 90s?

All I can really remember is that it was about a boy who was a musician, maybe went to a school for it, played i think the cello and worked in a floral shop. He finds a girl that lives in a plant in his shop and he has to save her world with a magical conductors baton. Anyone have any idea what this movie is? Please?!
